While a software patch for native UHD 770 graphics remains an impossibility due to the hardware architectural shift and Apple's abandonment of Intel x86 development, pairing these modern processors with a compatible AMD graphics card results in one of the most powerful Hackintosh systems achievable today. In your config.plist , ensure the following settings are active under DeviceProperties -> Add :
By pairing your modern Intel CPU with a compatible AMD Radeon graphics card, OpenCore can handle the CPU power management while handing off 100% of the display and rendering tasks to the AMD card. Supported AMD Graphics Cards (Native in macOS)
Only use this if you are attempting to keep the iGPU awake for background syncing tasks (not recommended for UHD 770 due to instability). This profile expects an Intel QuickSync-capable iGPU alongside a dGPU. ⚠️ Troubleshooting Common Boot Errors
: Users keep their UHD 770 for Windows but add a "natively supported" AMD graphics card (like an RX 6600 or RX 6800) for macOS. The Headless Mode : The iGPU is disabled or set to "headless" mode in the OpenCore config.plist
Without native drivers, macOS cannot utilize its Metal API on the UHD 770. Without Metal acceleration, the user interface will feel sluggish, animations will stutter, VRAM will be locked at a miniscule 7MB/31MB, and applications like Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, or Xcode will fail to launch or run poorly.
Inability to run professional apps like Final Cut Pro or Photoshop. 2. The Solution: Spoofing and Root Patching
