Released in September 2012, Due West: Our Sex Journey is adapted from the wildly popular, pseudonymous internet novel Dongguan Wood written by Xiang Xi Murakami Haruki. The film follows Frankie ( Justin Cheung ), a young Hong Konger raised in a strict middle-class family who struggles to navigate the boundaries between emotional love and purely carnal desire.
Throughout the series, Hazel and Gracie's relationship faces numerous challenges. They must navigate the complexities of being in a same-sex relationship, dealing with their families' reactions, and confronting their own emotions.
